Time to expand London's Ultra Low Emission Zone

London is in the grips of an air pollution crisis.

The Mayor of London introduced the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in 2019. Today it covers most of the capital's inner boroughs.

Now Transport for London is consulting on proposals to expand the ULEZ to cover all of Greater London from August 2023 - and Living Streets supports this.

People who walk or wheel do not contribute to air pollution, yet we are unfairly exposed to it. Everyone should be able to choose active, healthy - and pollution-cutting - ways to travel without being exposed to toxic emissions.

If you agree, please use our online form to respond to the consultation before 29 July 2022.

Step 1 - Use this form to send a short email to TfL expressing your support for the ULEZ expansion.

Step 2 - If you have a few minutes more, complete the consultation in full - and take advantage of some tips we have prepared.

Step 1: Support an expanded ULEZ? Email TfL

We have prepared a letter for you to send to the consultation team which you can see and amend on the next page.

But first tell us some details so we can add your signature to the letter.
