Clean Air Day is 20 June 2024 - the perfect time to join our movement for movement.

Over 70% of air pollution in the UK is produced by motor vehicles.

Yet 52% car trips are under two miles - short enough that they could be taken by walking, wheeling, cycling and public transport.

We can all play a small part by travelling actively more. But we also need to tighten targets on emissions so that they encourage more investment in active travel and public transport. In short, this is a challenge that calls for big changes.
