We've been over four years. It's time the Government dealt with pavement parking.

Friday 22 November 2025 marked four years since the previous government’s consultation on pavement parking in England closed.

And we're still waiting for a response.

Pavement parking is dangerous especially for families with young children, people with sight loss and disabled people. It also causes damage to footways, adding an unecessary cost burden foor local councils and increasing likelihood of avoidable slips, trips and falls.

Write to your local paper today, urging the Government to deal with the troubling legacy of pavement parking once and for all.
